We are taught to be thankful IN the circumstances not FOR them.
Feel His presence in times of suffering, hurting, and trial.
Wake up each morning with a spirit of gratefulness.
Let the heart flow with worship and thanksgiving.
Thank you Lord. Your blessings abound in my life!
God is the giver of all good things.
Take His gift and return thanks.
Think of the stalks of holly hocks that reach out to the universe.
Their blossoms open like trumpets
sounding forth praise to the creator.
With vibrant hues of red, yellow, pink, their splendor
spills forth and fills the garden with unsatiable joy.
Like the unwavering frame of this stately plant,
lift your hands high, fingers extending heavenward.
