Refuge Under His Wings

My daughter has had it on her heart for some time to release a collection mused entirely from Scripture. She chooses to use many elements of Latin American folk art in her pieces, especially the concept that skeletons are a reminder of both of our own mortality and that of those who have passed before us.

This was the first piece from the collection.  It is untitled and was mused from the following Scriptures:

Psalms 91:4-5  "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,"

Ephesians 6:17-18 "Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."

If you enjoy this piece, there is another piece at the bottom of the blog titled, "Quench Not the Spirit." Yes, I am very proud of my beautiful daughter, her gifts, and talents which are all blessings from the Lord....
