Preparing for Harvest
The soil will need to be rich and fertile. Compost and manure spread. The ground tilled.
Seeds need to be gathered, planted, watered. The timing for setting the seedlings will be crucial.
Even though I am a novice gardener, I do know the basics of what it will take to produce healthy, fruitful plants.

I am anticipating a big harvest in the mission field too! Some of the early preparation has already occurred.
The soil has been made rich and fertile with prayer, study, and testimony. Many pages and text have been turned over.
The seeds of encouragement, witness, and inspriation are being planted. The timing is the Lord's. Before long, a crop of blessings, a crop of righteous and faithfilled believers, a crop of new sheep for the shepherd will present itself.
Do you anticipate the harvest? He that soweth and He that reapeth will rejoice together. Prepare for the Harvest! M

"For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off." Isaiah 55:10-13
